Sugar and its surroundings: Tarabuco, Candelaria and Maragua

This tour takes you to discover the very rich cultural heritage of the capital of "Chuquisaca".
White sugar, the first capital of Bolivia, today looks like a provincial city with a quiet life. Its architectural richness is however unequaled. Here, no skyscrapers disturb the harmony of the stones blondies by the sun, nor the skilful staging of the red roofs and the sober and clear lines of the many steeples of the city.
The surroundings offer unexpected landscapes and treasures: rock paintings, fossilized traces of dinosaurs, meteorite craters, some of the most famous weavers on the continent.
