Santa Cruz - Amboro Park

At 8:30, a driver picks you up at your hotel in Santa Cruz and then drives you to the Refugio de los Volcanes (2h30 drive).
Arrival at 11.00 at the lodge and lunch around 12:00.
In the afternoon, we take a small hike on the heights of the lodge to enjoy a panoramic view of the park. With a little luck we will have the opportunity to observe some typical bird species in the region.
At 19: 00 we have dinner at the shelter and spend the night there.

Amboro Park

Full day dedicated to the refugio los Volcanes and its surroundings. Walks on the "Parrots path ", swimming in the refreshing waterfalls, wildlife observation...
Dinner back to the Refugio.

Amboro Park -

Last breakfast at the lodge before leaving for a last walk around (possibility to swim one last time in the water falls).
At 10:30, departure to Samaipata where we stop for lunch. Arrival at Refugio de las parabas Frente Roja at 16:30 approximately. In the afternoon we make a short hike to observe and photograph Red-fronted Macaws and other birds. 50m from the lodge, you can enjoy the river.
At 19: 00 we have dinner at the lodge.

After a delicious breakfast, we spend the whole day at the refugio where we can do different hikes. If the river is not too dry, we can also take a swim there.

- Santa Cruz

Breakfast at 8:00 and departure for a last walk to observe and photograph red forehead macaws. We drive to Samaipata where we have lunch before heading back to Santa Cruz where we arrive around 18:00.
